STATION 10

The Lincroft Fire Company was organized in May of 1932 by a group of enthusiastic and persistent individuals who saw the need for fire protection in the growing residential area from the Newman Springs Bridge (Route 520) west to the Holmdel boundary at Everett Road and from the Swimming River North to what is now the Garden State Parkway. The Lincroft community has undergone extensive growth in both residential and commercial properties. The response area covered by the Lincroft Fire Company now includes Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center , Brookdale Community College, elementary and high schools, multi-million commercial structures, 2,500 residences, over 1,000 acres of woods and of course the challenges of the Garden State Parkway.

Presently the Lincroft Fire Company team is comprised of approximately sixty members from 60+ year experienced firefighters, business owners, NYC commuters, computer scientist, all trades to the other end of the spectrum 14 year old fire explorers, of course the team is comprised of female and male firefighters stepping up to help their community.  Non-firematic members engage in the administrative functions of the organization.  The Lincroft Fire Company is fortunate to have a very dedicated Ladies Auxiliary that performs fund raising events, coordinates social activities and provides rehabilitation supports to our firefighter’s structure fires.
